Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Milwaukee Reagan). Their pitchers stepped up to hand Pulaski/Milwaukee Arts/Carmen Science & Tech South/Carmen Science & Tech Southeast a 19-0 shutout on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Huskies, who have now won four contests in a row.

Owen Hirthe made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five). He was even better at the plate, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with four stolen bases and three runs.

In other pitching news, Ryan Szymanski looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Back at the plate, Leonel Hernandez-Garcia was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Cullen O'Keefe, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

Milwaukee Reagan always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .622. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Milwaukee Reagan's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-3.
