Soccer Game Preview: Crete-Monee vs. Agricultural Science

The Crete-Monee Warriors will face off against the Agricultural Science Cyclones at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Crete-Monee's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Crete-Monee fell victim to Kankakee and their airtight defense on Monday. They lost 9-0 to the Kays. While losing is never fun, Crete-Monee can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 396th, while Kankakee are ranked 193rd).

Meanwhile, Agricultural Science beat Kenwood 3-1 on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for Agricultural Science in their matchups with Kenwood: they've now won five in a row.

Mackenzy Larkin and Erin Clancy scored all three of Agricultural Science's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 27 goals.

Crete-Monee's loss dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Agricultural Science, their win bumped their record up to 13-5.
