Bronson fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Dixie County on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Bears by a score of 67-64. Even though they lost, the Eagles' still made a splash on offense and bumped their average scoring up to 50.5 points per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Trey Tucker, who posted 17 points and seven steals. Another player making a difference was James Hobdy, who went 6-for-14 on his way to 14 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.

Bronson's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Dixie County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bronson will face off against Dunnellon at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dixie County, they will take on Bell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
