Despite the loss, Fernley still got an impressive performance from Keeshawn Love, who rushed for 307 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 8.5 yards per carry. Love's rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 20th straight game with at least 118 rushing yards dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryce Stephens, who rushed for 66 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries.

Bird threw for 214 yards and a pair of TDs while Richardson rushed for 94 yards and one score on only eight carries. Fernley's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Churchill County, they pushed their record up to 10-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.
