Softball Game Preview: Reseda Regents vs. Westchester Comets

The Reseda Regents will face off against the Westchester Comets at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Reseda's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three games.

Reseda is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past George Washington Prep 31-5. The Regents might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by seven runs or more this season.

Westchester played against Lakeview Charter on Friday and won via forfeit.

Reseda is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 20.6 runs over those games. As for Westchester, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-9.

Reseda was able to grind out a solid win over Westchester when the teams last played back in March of 2015, winning 5-2. Will the Regents repeat their success, or do the Comets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
