Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lisle walked away with it. Their defense stepped up to hand the Universal Stars a 3-0 shutout on Monday. Lisle might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by three goals or more this season.

Frankie Zifcak was the driving force of Lisle's attack as he scored all three of Lisle's goals, bringing his season total up to nine goals.

The victory made it two in a row for Lisle and bumps their season record up to 8-12. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matches. As for Universal, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-3-1.

As of now, neither Lisle nor the Stars have any future games scheduled.
