Basketball Recap: Union Grove Christian Comes Up Short

Union Grove Christian was the 71-58 winner over Berean Christian when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Union Grove Christian fell just short of the Berean Christian Kingsmen by a score of 74-72 on Thursday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game back in December of 2024 (62), Union Grove Christian still had to take the loss.

Union Grove Christian dropped their record down to 2-1 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Berean Christian, with the win, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-7.

Union Grove Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Oakhill Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th. As for Berean Christian, they are taking a road trip to square off against South Haven Christian at 3:40 p.m. on Thursday.
