Softball Recap: Sparkman Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Sparkman's offense. They came up short against the Orange Beach Makos on Friday, falling 12-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Senators of the 13-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

Sparkman has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-15 record this season. As for Orange Beach, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 32-1.

Coming up, Sparkman will face off against Westminster Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Orange Beach, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 16-0 win against Prattville Christian Academy on the 25th.
