Jacksboro entered their tilt with Henrietta on Tuesday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Bearcats. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Wyatt Gavit spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned runs on nine hits and racked up seven Ks.

On the hitting side, Jacksboro's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Issac Wesson, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. Kase Dennis was another, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Jacksboro's win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-3. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Henrietta, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-9-1.

Jacksboro will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bearcats: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
