After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Westmoreland, West Point was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Essex Trojans 3-0. The game marked the Pointers' most dominant win of the season so far.

West Point's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Essex, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Coming up, West Point will head out on the road to take on Middlesex at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Essex, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Surry County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
