Recap: Lincoln Trojans vs. Tokay Tigers
The Lincoln Trojans can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Wednesday. They breezed by Tokay at home to the tune of 88-26. Lincoln's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Lincoln's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Quentin Thompson led the charge by scoring 18 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. Donez Lindsey was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven assists and three steals.
Lincoln's victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-4. As for Tokay, they are on a 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-19.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincoln will take on the Crusaders at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Modesto Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matchups -- so hopefully the Trojans likes a good challenge. As for Tokay, they will be playing at home against the Rams at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. St. Mary's presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Tigers in California (the Rams are ranked 78th, while the Tigers are ranked 790th).
