Soccer Recap: Pulaski Extends Winning Streak to Four

Pulaski won the last time they faced Menasha and things went their way on Friday too. The Red Raiders walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Bluejays. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Pulaski's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked 26th, while Menasha are ranked 98th).

The win (which was Pulaski's fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four matchups. As for Menasha, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6-1.

Coming up, Pulaski will take on Sturgeon Bay at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Menasha, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Green Bay West at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Menasha will be up against Green Bay West's rather soft defense (which has allowed 9.75 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
