Recap: LaSalle Royal Lions vs. TERRA Environmental
The LaSalle Royal Lions won the last time they faced TERRA Environmental, and things went their way on Thursday too. LaSalle walked away with a 51-41 victory over TERRA Environmental.
Leading LaSalle to victory were Melissa Carrasco and Alexandra Gonzalez Casar. Carrasco scored 17 points, while Gonzalez Casar dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. The contest was Gonzalez Casar's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caroline Barrabes, who scored 4 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals.
LaSalle's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points per game. As for TERRA Environmental, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
LaSalle will head out on the road to face off against North Miami at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for TERRA Environmental, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Gulliver Prep at 6:00 p.m.
