Basketball Recap: Prattville Falls Despite Big Games from Damarreyan Colston and Xavier Dunn

Prattville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Tuscaloosa County Wildcats, falling 66-45. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 312th, while the Wildcats are ranked 124th).

Xavier Dunn and Damarreyan Colston certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Dunn posted 16 points, while Colston scored four points and six rebounds.

Prattville's loss dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Tuscaloosa County, their victory bumped their record up to 14-9.

Prattville has already played their next contest, a 67-50 defeat against Spain Park on the 18th. Tuscaloosa County has also already played their next match (against Hillcrest), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
