Basketball Recap: Yamhill-Carlton Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

Yamhill-Carlton won the last time they faced Rainier and things went their way on Saturday too. The Yamhill-Carlton Tigers strolled past the Rainier Columbians with points to spare, taking the game 58-42. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 27th, while the Columbians are ranked 128th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
