Palma made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Pacific Collegiate, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Palma put the hurt on Pacific Collegiate with a sharp 3-0 victory on Wednesday. The win was nothing new for the Chieftains as they're now sitting on five straight.

Palma never let Pacific Collegiate on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-22, 25-21.

Palma's victory bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Pacific Collegiate, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Palma will host Christopher at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Christopher will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Palma surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pacific Collegiate, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Rancho San Juan at 5:00 p.m. on April 14.
