Basketball Recap: Roanoke Rapids Comes Up Short on the Road Against Northern Nash + How To Watch

Roanoke Rapids had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They received a blow as they fell 69-55 to the Northern Nash Knights. The Yellowjackets have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Several Yellowjackets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Shawn Morgan, who posted seven points. Christian Price was another key player, putting up five points and three steals.

The victory (which was Northern Nash's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Roanoke Rapids will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against KIPP P at 7:30 p.m. on December 3. As for Northern Nash, they are taking a road trip to take on East Wake at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
