Volleyball Recap: South Holt Takes a Loss

If South Holt was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of North Nodaway on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Knights took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Tournament Opponent on Saturday. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Tournament Opponent apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2021.

Kristin Quinlin paced South Holt's offense, picking up five kills. Quinlin got some help from Claire Ezzell and her five assists. Camdyn Davison controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

South Holt's loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Coming up, South Holt will take on Rock Port at 10:10 a.m. on Saturday. As for Tournament Opponent, they will challenge Fosston at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
