Volleyball Recap: Minooka Takes a Loss

Minooka lost against Oak Park-River Forest back in August of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Indians fell just short of the Huskies by a score of 2-1.

Kendall Kozak paced Minooka's offense, picking up ten kills. Kozak really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 13. Giada Schrementi and Bella Sherman kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Minooka's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Oak Park-River Forest, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-2.

Minooka is on the road again on Saturday to play Loyola Academy at 2:00 p.m. As for Oak Park-River Forest, they will take on Normal Community in a tournament on Saturday.
