North Oconee proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by five) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Mill Creek Hawks 2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Titans sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

North Oconee's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those three contests. As for Mill Creek, they suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 5-2.

North Oconee and Mill Creek should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. North Oconee will take on Flowery Branch at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday up 292 places (15 vs. 307). Meanwhile, Mill Creek (ranked 54th) will meet Discovery (ranked 316th) at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
