Baseball Recap: Rolesville Finds Home Field Redemption Against Farmville Central

There's no place like home for Rolesville, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They came out on top against the Farmville Central Jaguars by a score of 15-11 on Saturday. Considering the Rams' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Jordan Wiggins was incredible, getting on base in three of his six plate appearances with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Austin Leicht, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

Rolesville kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Rolesville moved to 4-7 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Farmville Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
