Garden Grove's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Segerstrom Jaguars 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Argonauts have posted since March 29th.

Jazmine Santos spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on eight hits.

On the hitting side, Nati Sualua-Orozco was excellent, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and one double. Another player making a difference was Hailee Le, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

The win got Garden Grove back to even at 10-10. As for Segerstrom, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-10.

Looking ahead, Garden Grove will head out to take on Paramount at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Argonauts are facing the Pirates at the right time seeing as the Pirates are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Segerstrom, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Kennedy at 3:30 p.m.
