Football Recap: Bear Creek Makes It Four in a Row on the Road + How To Watch

Bear Creek had won four straight on the road, but on Friday they bumped up to 4-5 to make it five. They walked away with a 35-28 victory over the West Wolfpack. This was payback for the Bruins, who suffered a 41-30 loss the last time these two teams met.

Jalen Mcgee was his usual excellent self, picking up 77 receiving yards and two scores, while also rushing for 31 yards and one touchdown. Another player making a difference was Jeremiah Robertson, who rushed for 64 yards and one TD.

Bear Creek didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Keyondrae Porter and Braydon Shchoennauer. Shchoennauer also made 11 total tackles, which is notable because Bear Creek is undefeated when he posts at least three total tackles, but 1-5 otherwise.

As for West, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8. They gained 57 more yards on the day, but it was Bear Creek that made the best use of them.

When it comes to explaining why West lost, don't look at Ethan Morris. Despite the final result, he rushed for 180 yards and one score while picking up 11.3 yards per carry.
