Basketball Recap: Livingston Manor Takes a Loss

Livingston Manor lost against Eldred back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The match between the Livingston Manor Wildcats and the Eldred Yellowjackets didn't end well, with the Livingston Manor Wildcats falling 43-29. The Wildcats just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Eldred was led to victory by Victoria Ryman and Olivia Gonzalez. Ryman dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 rebounds, while Gonzalez dropped a double-double on 17 points and 14 boards. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Gonzalez has scored at least a third of Eldred's points.

Livingston Manor's record is now 2-8. As for Eldred, they moved to 2-6 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Livingston Manor will face off against Sullivan West at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Eldred, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Monticello at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Eldred is facing Monticello at the right time seeing as Monticello is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
