Softball Recap: Hanford Beats Hermiston for Their Third Straight Victory

Hanford entered their tilt with Hermiston on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Bulldogs. That's more bragging rights for the Falcons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Hanford let Audrey Roberts and Neve Jimenez run wild. Roberts scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3, while Jimenez scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Those three hits gave Roberts a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Haylee Velasco, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Hanford was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .458. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .458 or higher in three consecutive matchups.

Hanford's record is now 5-1. As for Hermiston, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.
