Basketball Recap: Milano Comes Up Short

Milano played a tough game on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 60-28 defeat at the hands of the Granger Lions. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-30 back in December of 2024.

Milano has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season. As for Granger, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 22-6.

Milano will head out to square off against Holland at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Milano is facing Holland at the right time seeing as Holland is stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Granger, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Granger Lions duke it out with the Rosebud-Lott Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Granger is on a seven-game streak of home wins, Rosebud-Lott a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
