Chippewa came into Wednesday's contest looking for another win against Rittman, but Mackenzie Beltz wouldn't allow it. The Indians walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Chipps on Wednesday with plenty of help from Beltz, who had six digs and four aces. She has been hot for a while, having also posted 15 or more assists the last 22 times she's played.

The win didn't come easy: Chippewa scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 18-25, 25-23, 25-18.

Rittman's victory bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Chippewa, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-9.

Coming up, Rittman will welcome Lake Ridge Academy at 7:00 p.m. on the 16th. As for Chippewa, they will take on Orrville at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
