Lewis & Clark recap September 17, 2013

Westran took down Father Tolton 59-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Zane Jacoby threw for 147 yards and ran for 45 yards during the win.

The Hornets led Lewis & Clark in scoring this week after putting up 59 points on Father Tolton. Jacoby in the win.

Paris's dynamic duo of Kyle Popkes and Slater Stone proved to be unstoppable against North Shelby, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Popkes threw for 255 yards and 5 touchdowns and Stone had 148 yards receiving. Brendon Hancock helped Paris' passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 75 yards.

The Coyotes' dynamic duo of Popkes and Stone proved tough for the Raiders to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.

Jake Ingebritson was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 79 yards on 11 carries as Westran bested North Shelby.

Popkes put up the best numbers through the air as Gary Crusha's team defeated Todd Cripe's team.

Stone was the best wideout in the league this week as the Coyotes beat the Raiders.

Paris' Popkes and Stone have formed a dream team this season, leading Lewis & Clark in both passing and receiving yards. 6-0 quarterback Popkes has thrown for 737 yards this season, while Stone has 22 catches for 379 yards. Jacoby from Curtis Jasper's team leads the league in rushing with 312 yards.

The Coyotes made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 12,811 from 13,189. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 48-0 victory over North Shelby last week.
