Basketball Recap: Southern Wake Academy Comes Up Short

Southern Wake Academy lost against Chatham Charter back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Southern Wake Academy Lions took a blow against the Chatham Charter Knights, falling 55-8. The contest marked the Lions' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Southern Wake Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Chatham Charter, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southern Wake Academy will head out to take on Woods Charter at 6:00 p.m. on January 21st. As for Chatham Charter, they are taking a road trip to face off against River Mill at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
