After losing to Marist the last time they met, Plainfield Central decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Wildcats never let the RedHawks get on the board and left with a 2-0 win on Monday. Winning may never get old, but Plainfield Central sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Plainfield Central's victory bumped their record up to 7-2-3. As for Marist, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4-1.

Plainfield Central wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Joliet West on the 17th. As for Marist, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, an 8-0 victory against Joliet Catholic on the 16th.
