Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian lost to St. Joseph back in April of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Braves came out on top against the Bears by a score of 7-2.

Isaac Stayton made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, one run, and one double. That double was his first of the season.

In other batting news, Kyler Wood was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-2. Max Warner also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for St. Joseph, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
