Basketball Recap: River View's Win Ends 11-Game Losing Streak at Home

River View had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They managed a 32-28 victory over the Goldendale Timberwolves on Tuesday. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 56-18 win the Timberwolves walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2021.

River View's victory ended an 11-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-9. As for Goldendale, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the River View Panthers challenge the Warden Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Goldendale, they will challenge Cle Elum-Roslyn at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Cle Elum-Roslyn has three straight wins, Goldendale has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
