Drake Gilkison and Kayden Fenwick certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Gilkison picked up 94 receiving yards and one score, while Fenwick picked up 31 receiving yards and one TD.

Lance Holsted produced another solid effort rushing for 172 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries for Staley. Holsted's longest rush was for an impressive 58 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Nick Ballew was another major influence, as he rushed for 90 yards and ran in a TD.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Staley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6.
