Basketball Game Preview: Neches Tigers vs. Mount Calm

The Neches Tigers and Mount Calm will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

It was a proper cat-fight when Neches took on Harleton on Friday. Neches fell just short of Harleton by a score of 41-39.

Meanwhile, Mount Calm hadn't done well against Penelope recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Mount Calm simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Penelope 58-24. That looming 58-24 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Mount Calm yet this season.

Mount Calm's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Neches, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.
