Soccer Recap: Pinkston Comes Up Short

Pinkston was the 1-1 winner over North Dallas when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Pinkston Vikings came up short against the North Dallas Bulldogs on Thursday, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 516th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 63rd).

Pinkston now has a losing record at 3-4-1. As for North Dallas, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Pinkston will look to defend their home pitch on Saturday against A Plus Academy at 2:30 p.m. A Plus Academy's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Pinkston's offense will have their work cut out for them. North Dallas has already played their next game (against Wilmer-Hutchins), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
