Softball Recap: Mountain View Find Success

Mountain View's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Saratoga Falcons. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-3 back in April.

Riley Anderson and Leilani Tanielu did most of the damage at the plate: Anderson went 1-for-3 with one home run and one stolen base, while Tanielu went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple and two RBI. Those three hits gave Tanielu a new career-high. Raven Rasmussen-Dailey was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Mountain View's record now sits at 8-14. As for Saratoga, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13.

Mountain View has already played their next contest, a 5-4 defeat against Los Altos on the 6th. As for Saratoga, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 6-3 loss against Los Gatos on the 6th.
