Volleyball Recap: Brunswick Turns Things Around After Road Loss + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Brunswick, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Hilton Head Island Seahawks on Tuesday, sneaking past 2-1. This was payback for the Pirates, who suffered a 2-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

If you add up the scores from across all three sets (56-52) Brunswick actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 12-25, 25-23, 15-8.

Ashley Adair paced Brunswick's offense, picking up 13 kills. Adair got some help from Kate Small and her 21 assists. Anna Weese and Aubrey Rook kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Brunswick's win bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Hilton Head Island, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-10.

Brunswick wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Lowndes on the 11th. As for Hilton Head Island, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Calvary Day on the 9th.
