It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Clayton can now relate to. They took a 5-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chapel Hill Tigers on Thursday. Clayton's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Tavalis Parker and Nicholas Tomaz-Klava scored all three of Clayton's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 24 goals.

Clayton's defeat dropped their record down to 18-4-1. As for Chapel Hill, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

Clayton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chapel Hill, they are taking a road trip to take on New Hanover at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. New Hanover's last seven contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
