 Spanish Fork waltzed into their matchup  on Tuesday with 16 straight wins... but they left with 17. They never let the Timpview Thunderbirds onto the board and left with  an   18-0  victory. Spanish Fork might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won 12 games by seven  runs or more this season.
  Alyce Archuleta made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Archuleta has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in seven consecutive pitching appearances. Archuleta was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run.
 In other batting news,  Jade Romero was  incredible,  firing off two  home runs, eight  RBI,  and three  runs while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Emrie Pintar, who  scored three  runs while going 2-for-2.
 Spanish Fork's win was  their fifth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 19-2. As for Timpview, they have  not been sharp recently as the team has  lost six of their last seven contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record  this season.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Spanish Fork will  face off against Springville at 3:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Springville will roll in looking for their  13th straight  victory, something Spanish Fork surely won't give up without a fight. As for Timpview, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Maple Mountain at 3:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Maple Mountain is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 7.5  runs per game  this season.
