Basketball Game Recap: Choctaw vs. Midwest City

After flying high against Enid last week, the Choctaw Yellowjackets came back down to earth. Choctaw was just a bucket short of a victory on Tuesday and fell 59-58 to the Midwest City Bombers. The Yellowjackets' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

The Yellowjackets' loss pushed them down to 12-10. Midwest City's win brought them up to 16-3.

The Yellowjackets will square off against Eisenhower Friday. Choctaw has the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency. As for Midwest City, they will go up against Lawton Friday. It should be a fierce showdown as Midwest City is ranked second in the MaxPreps state rankings and Lawton is ranked fifth.
