Soccer Recap: McFarland Triumphs

It was a proper cat-fight when McFarland took on Taft on Tuesday. The McFarland Cougars came out on top against the Taft Wildcats by a score of 3-1. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 victory the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

McFarland hit Taft with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Carlos Sanchez, Victor Pantoja, and Jason Vega.

McFarland now has a winning record of 5-4-2. As for Taft, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McFarland will venture away from home to challenge Kennedy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Taft, they will head out on the road to take on Chavez at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
