Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Almond-Bancroft). They blew past the Port Edwards Blackhawks 59-6 on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for Almond-Bancroft and bumps their season record up to 3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 19 points in those games. As for Port Edwards, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Almond-Bancroft will take on Tri-County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Penguins have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Port Edwards, they will face off against Rosholt at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
