Berkner hadn't beaten Pearce on the road since October 7, 2016 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Rams breezed past the Mustangs to the tune of 49-21. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-7.

Berkner pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 40.3 points over those games. As for Pearce, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

Looking ahead, Berkner will take on Bowie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pearce does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
