Volleyball Recap: Devine Warhorses / Arabians vs. Lexington Eagles
Devine was the 2-0 winner over Lexington when they last played one another on Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Warhorses / Arabians took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles on Saturday. The Warhorses / Arabians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Emma Mciver paced Devine's offense, picking up five kills. Mciver really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with eight.
Among those leading the charge was Autum Looper, who had 12 digs and one assist.
Devine's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Lexington, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season.
