Baseball Recap: Philip Barbour Comes Up Short

Philip Barbour was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 13-8 to the George Washington Patriots.

Philip Barbour got a big performance out of Anthony Mosesso, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Kale Wolfe, who went 2-for-4 with three runs.

Philip Barbour's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for George Washington, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-2.

Coming up, Philip Barbour will challenge Frankfort at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for George Washington, they will square off against Morgantown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mohigans have averaged an impressive 7.8 runs per game this season.
