The biggest upset of the week belonged to Raymondville, who took down 729th ranked Raymondville, 54-36.
King moved up to 696 from 765 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 3A Region IV District 31. The Brahmas climbed the ranks as a result of defeating the Bearkats 54-36.
Zapata's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Hawks feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Alonso Gutierrez has thrown for 93 yards this season, while Cesar Ramos has six catches for 81 yards. Mike Alvarez leads the league in rushing with 600 yards.
King made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 7,330 from 8,157. The improvement was the result of 54-36 victory over Raymondville last week.
