Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northglenn). Their defense stepped up to hand the Westminster Wolves a 7-0 shutout on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what Northglenn needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Joselyn Nores Gomez and Kaitlyn Fujinami scored all seven of Northglenn's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 22 goals.

With the win, Northglenn broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-9. As for Westminster, their loss was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-11.
