Soccer Game Preview: Jesuit vs. Rocklin

The Jesuit Marauders are taking a road trip to take on the Rocklin Thunder at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Jesuit managed to keep up with Davis Sr. until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Jesuit came up short against Davis Sr., falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, the Marauders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 220th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 61st).

Meanwhile, Rocklin fell victim to Whitney and their airtight defense on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. That's two games in a row now that the Thunder have lost by exactly two goals.

Jesuit's loss dropped their record down to 3-3-5. As for Rocklin, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-4-2.
