Softball Recap: Red Wing Comes Up Short

Red Wing fell victim to Owatonna and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Huskies, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Wingers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Red Wing's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Owatonna, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Red Wing will challenge rival Winona at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Owatonna is set to take on their familiar foe Century at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
