Anderson has gone 8-2 against Walnut Hills recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Raptors will head out on the road to challenge the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Anderson has three straight wins, Walnut Hills has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
The home team had won the previous three meetings between Anderson and Milford, and Anderson kept the tradition alive. The Raptors walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Eagles on Wednesday.

Anderson got a great performance from Mason Glen as he struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. Glen has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Anderson let Eric Fleetwood and Hudson Best run wild. Fleetwood went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, while Best went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Best has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last three times he's played. Tommy Huster also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Meanwhile, Walnut Hills lost 11-1 to St. Xavier on Thursday.
Walnut Hills saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shea Dillon, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run.
Walnut Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Anderson, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
Walnut Hills' hitters will have their work cut out for them on Monday. Anderson has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.1 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Walnut Hills, though, as they've been averaging only 3.8 strikeouts. Will Anderson keep running through batters, or will the Eagles buck the trend?
Everything went Anderson's way against Walnut Hills in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Anderson made off with a 19-2 win. Will the Raptors repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
